I haven't even watched the movie, just that little clip because someone told me about it.
What happened to the real Bonnie and Clyde wasn't much different. According to Wikipedia, the only difference with the movie was that they never managed to get out of the car. The official coroner report said they received a total of 40 exit wounds. All of the six officers that shot them were equipped with high-velocity armour piercing rounds. They were all temporarily deafened after the ambush from all that gunfire.
