I'm in the middle of some disease where I constantly vomit bad jokes probably as a result of festering in my own company. I'm really self aware of this before my little sister has made a hobby out of pointing out every bad joke I make.
I know she's going to read this sometime so HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII :D:D:D.
In the Decembery part of the holidays, what with the Christmas and all I spent a lot of time at family friends' places. I also spent a lot of time with my obnoxiously cute cousin, who I can't call a baby anymore because he's going to kindegarten next year. The first thought on my mind as the New Years fireworks went off was to tell him to shut up with the dumb questions.
I've passed the majority of the hours at home passing the time reading and playing piano. My english tutor told me to read books by John Steinbeck and to my surprise, I've been enjoying them.
Ok seriously, I've been playing Pokemon. You can laugh but I bet you don't have a level 81 GIRATINA with like EV trained stats and stuff.
Somewhere along the lines I went to the beach. Wasn't that crowded, considering it was Manly but the seaweed was a real pain in the testicles. I tried body surfing and only managed to catch 3 or 4 waves out of at least fifty.
On the 8th I went to Cairns with family and friends. Stayed at a pretty cool 5 star apartment though we had to get an extra room because the hotel people didn't approve of our attempts to overcrowd the rooms so we could save money.
It was a pretty nice trip, despite the fact that it rained the whole time. Yeah that did lick balls but we still went on with stuff like scuba diving and snorkelling. I have a photo of me diving, it's pretty funny because the mask distorts your face so it looks like you're squinting while sucking a huge cylinder. I don't have the CD full of photos right now but I might upload later.
I guess the rain didn't make a difference once you were in the water. It woulda been nice to see the postcard perfect clear turquoise blue waters over a kaleidoscope of brilliantly coloured coral under a beautifully clear blue sky but I guess wavy dark waters under a looming grey clouds still did fine.
Scuba diving seems to be the most interesting thing I've done all holidays so I'll write more about it. It was pretty weird because I kept forgetting I to breathe because my nose was blocked by the mask and there was huge thing in my mouth. But once you get used to it it's pretty cool. The tank sorta pumps the air in your mouth so it pretty much breathes for you. The dive felt ridiculously short because it was just 20 minutes.
Oh yeah, and I got seasick for the first time. Ew.
I got back on the 12th. Nothing interesting has actually happened over the recent few days, though they will soon. My house got sold on Wednesday and I'll be moving to my new one in 6 weeks time. Yay! And I will also finally get a phone.
It's late (or extremely early) now, better go play some Pokemon and get to sleep.
