Everyone can be divided into two groups. Those who floss, and those who don't. Recently, I have decided to join the former. My teeth are structured so there's pretty big gaps between them so flossing is something that I realised I needed to do often. The alternative was toothpicks, which unfortunately just don't have enough range.
Before I delve into too much information about my own oral hygiene habits here's a list of dental benefits from flossing:
- Decreased risk of gum disease
- Better breath
- Removes plaque in between teeth
- Polishes tooth surfaces
- It even reduces risk of heart disease!
Seriously, faithful readers, there is no reason now for you not to join the millions of flossers around the world.
